Hi Internet!
Is it really such a big part of my nations culture that parents divorce that it's concidered the "norm"?
Today my five year old son asked in a cheerful everyday voice "mom, when are you going to divoce my dad?" - not that he doesn't like his father, but because of the fact that many - if not most - of his friends come from broken homes. Does he feel left out to be the only child not to have special "daddy weekends" ? or is it that he feels so burdened by the fact that he only has one bedroom? one closet or one home? What does promt the need for this question I want to know? I don't think there's anything in our homelife that suggests us getting a divorce, I mean, sure we do have our rows, we do have loud discussions about politics and things we don't quite agree on, but nothing that isn't normal - the thing is we're just in general loud and opinionated people who love to discuss things - sometimes a bit loud, but it's hardly ever personal...
Well I must go... thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated :D
