Hi Internet!
Things are good on my end, things are getting into a routine and we're all getting used to more workload. Kapitola is settling in at the Pre-school GREAT she loves her teachers, she loves her little friends and she is very happy there :) she got her symbol last week, they all have their own symbols to put on their chair, cubbie, sleeping area, basket etc. and her's is fruit :) they also learn how to use sign language to say their symbol.
Ragnar's symbol is the Lion and he has had it since he started in the pre-school when he was three years old. He is in the oldest class in pre-school now and is starting to get more schoolwork done and more structure into his dayplan to prep him for starting the first class in Grunnskóli (1-10th class, 6-16 year olds). Ragnar also started the Music school again, he's in the Suzuki program to learn to play the piano, he's doing well and we're getting into the swing of having a new teacher and practicing every day (which is hard when everyone has such different schedules we're basically running all day long).
I have gotten into full swing with studying (although I've been on sick leave last two days, bad sign this early in the semaster but I will go back tomorrow, and I've been trying to stay cought up). and I feel I'm getting a good grasp on everything I'm learning, except the Danish studies, well I'm doing good with the Danish studies - just not getting into the novel I'm supposed to read *eyeroll*.
Gummi is doing good with his job, he's still working 12 hour shifts for 7 days then 7 days off every other work week working 8pm-8am and the other work week 5pm-5am, which is why we're always running so much, it always feels like someone is about to be late somewhere *sigh* He also started jogging today - forgetting that jogging can make knee problems worse *sigh*... ohh and he's bald now...
The kittens are growing like WEED - they are purring and playing and sleeping and eating and doing all those cat like things - which is fun to watch ;) - although there is a behaviour Archie shows that slightly creeps me out - he tries to "nurse" for a lack of better word - on his brother *sigh* - and he really hangs onto him sucking on his fur for hours on end while purring obnoxiously loud... which is ok until Harry decides he's had enough and wants some comforting mommy time (that is sleeping right next to my face) and Archie follows him with his suckling which makes for some loud double purring, slurpie suckie party right next to my trying-to-be-sleeping-ear...... *sigh* kittens - gotta lov'em :)
I shouldn't leave out the two other residents here our birds Kíkí and Kíta are very loud and very squawki as always and I'm afraid they will get eaten if the kittens won't loose interest soon...
