Happy Summer!

Hello Internet!

Today is the first day of summer, well that's what the calendar in Iceland tells us anyways LOL.
The weather is very nice, and we're about to go to the minjasafn (the local national history museum) and then downtown, with the kids, we'll hopefully have a good time.

Winter and summer didn't freeze togeather here in Akureyri but in a lot of places in Iceland they did so those places will likely get good summers, (according to traditional folk tales, if there is snow and/or frost on the night before first day of summer then the summer will be a good one)

well I'm off to get ready for the outing
