Hi Internet!
So it's time for another complains-a-lot blog... Yes I seem to go overboard on those, but this time I really feel I have the right to went just a wee-bit...
Ragnar's fifth birthday was last Monday - Happy Birthday big boy and all that, - which means there was supposed to be a birthday party. OK we do the planning and buying of things because last Saturday was supposed to be the BIG day! on Thursday we handed out the invites to his classmates and everything was in motion - but OHH NO! Ragnar got sick, on Friday (which was btw the last day of preschool before the month long summer closing and he was supposed to get a birthday crown and make muffins and such because his birthday was just the next weekday) he woke up at six o'clock puking everything he could and kept at it for the better part of Saturday as well, so we called all the parents (although we couldn't reach one set - after calling homephone, cell and e-mailing - guess who got all dressed up and very dissappointed - so sad) to post pone the party for one week.
Which is no biggie, unless you consider the fact that this is actually the first week of the kids staying home all day and Gummi is working and I got sick on Sunday evening to make things even worse. Ok, so I threw up everything I could on Sun. Mon and Tue and then I finally started to be able to eat again, ok let me tell you about one thing. Depression medication doesn't work very well after being flushed down the toilet, so not only am I days behind on baking and cleaning and getting things ready but I'm also moody and crazy as he11 which means I have been snapping at anyone and anything all day *sigh* I'm so getting the bad mommy award after today *Sigh*
My house is a real mess and now Gummi probably can't get the weekend off because there is noone around to work for him *Sigh* and I don't have a clue as to what kind of Birthday cake I want to make *sigh* at least my grandmother is making the Skyrcake and my Mother-in-law is making some baked things so at least there's that...
ohhh and then I have been having some trouble with communicating with the computer apparatus we have been making for Ragnar's birthday - it's supposed to be a sort of video storage unit to hook up to his TV /computer - it's just a regular desk top computer hooked to his TV.... well it's on the FRITZ and I can't get it to work, so not only is Ragnar's birthday party going to suck, his cake going to be crappy but his birthday present isn't even working properly...and his mommy is moody as he11! - poor kid...
well this self pity lexure is over you are now free to resume your happy lives...

Oh Sæunn, I'm sorry Girl.:( Smetimes it jhust seems like EVERYTHING goes wrong at once. It's like a vicious plot! It sounds as though you have had one tough week and I hope it gets a lot better for you! One compliment for you though!:) Even though you are "complaining"...your writing style is so funny and makes it a pleasure to read! Not saying I like that you have to complain but hey, might as well do it in style!:) Thinking of you and hoping everything gets a lot better for you and your family!!
Awww thanks Colleen that's so sweet of you to say :) - yeah things are getting better, it looks like Gummi can have Friday night off which makes the whole situation much better to handle :)
