Hi Internet!
So today is the last day of school before the finals start, I am really looking forward to be done with school this semester and be able to focus on prepping me and my family and most of all my home for Christmas, we are just about the last house on the street to put up decorations (in Iceland we don't do Thanksgiving, so the Christmas decorations start showing up in the beginning of November - this is also due to the lack of light during the day, just to brighten up the dark cold north) Well I have to say, I have planned what decorations I want to buy but I haven't even started, the first Sunday of Advent was yesterday and I haven't even put my Advent light in the window - shameful I know!
In other news, I have completed the lifespan of my original couple in Sims3 - sad I know! - but I can't seem to be able to stop! it's just SOOOO addictive!

Short silence and wonderous nights sleep :D
Hi Internet!
Last night Kapitola slept over at my aunt's house and Ragnar at my Amma's so Gummi and I had the house to ourselves :D it was so sweet.
We started the evening off by going to the bowling alley/Diner for a dish of Crépes YUM! and I had a glass of white wine with that - AHHHH!
After that we went to my school where the student theater's production of We will Rock you (musical by Queen) was shown - a great play and OMG the boy who played Galileo Fidaro was so frigging good singer! he sang Bohemian Rapsody perfectly! - Well done and kudos to the kids for a great production! I am so proud of my school ;D
After the show I went to a café with my friend for a drink and we played Trivial Persuit (sp?) until Gummi came to pick us up and we all went to a party at his friend's house, man it was kind of torturous for me due to all the underage drinking - I didn't feel great watching those kids (16-18 years old some of them) puking and passed out all over the place... not my kind of crowd
We came home about 2 am or so and went to bed and we slept until 11am!!! how sweet it was to just lay in bed and not having to get up and take care of children ahhhh sweet sweet days off ( we haven't had them stay overnight for at least six months, well Ragnar has spent the night at his grandma a couple of times but we always had Kapitola though) then my friend came over again and we chilled for a while.
Gummi and Amma & Villi went furniture hauling, that is we got a glass cabinet from my mother's house for Ragnar's room and she got the old desk and chest of drawers we had been meaning to send to her place.
Last week I got very lucky, my next door neighbor (litterally next door, we share front steps and our doors are side by side) was redecorating his daughters room and had put out her desk and after a couple of days I told Gummi to ask him about the desk if he was throwing it out or something and if we could take it off his hands (it's a beautiful desk) if that was the case, and he gave it to us and he even asked us if we wanted a matching book case! - which ofcourse we did! it's a perfect fit to our living room, we have the computer there so we needed a new desk since the old one was pretty bad looking LOL :D I'm so happy about this :D

I don't talk to much...well a bit maybe...sometimes...
Hi Internet!
So I sometimes think when I tell my stories of crazy weird moments that people might not believe me, let's face it some of those stories are quite to awkward and stupid to be possible but they are true none the less.
I am just the kind of person that always seems to end up in the silliest and most awkward situations imaginable, like way back when I was 12 or so, me and my then best friend Sólrún did a little B&E just about everyday, see she used to forget her keys A LOT! So usually I would push her up on the balcony and she would sneak in through an upstairs window. One day I had sprained my wrist so I couldn't give her a push, so we decided that the safe route would be to take the huge garbage bin thingie and drag it up the outside steps so she could climb to the balcony, ofcourse this was the moment the garbage dude decided to come over to pick up the trash... well he was kind and decided to help the two innocent little girls break in to get to their lunch LOL he gave Sólrún a push and she got in, well the awkward part happened the following week... this requires a side story:
Sólrún had a job, she used to walk her next door neighbour's dog every day, while they were at work so they had given her a key to their garage so she could pick up the dog and let her in again, well we used to go walk the dog togeather, since we pretty much did everything togeather, and so it happened one day that we were bringing the dog back to the neighbours house we let ourselves into the garage and at that moment we see him, the kind garbage guy who had helped us perform the B&E at Sólrúns the week before, he stared at us coming out of the WRONG house and locking it WITH A KEY and ofcourse he drew a conclusion - let's just say it was a wee bit awkward :D LOL
